Ryan
Ryan was feeling good. Everything seemed to finally be looking up for him and he was holding onto that feeling for everything it was worth.
The morning after he was blown by Jett, it was pure bliss to wake up with someone next to him. Although he thought it would be weird, he was actually at ease. He was comfortable with the decision he made to let Jett into his life. He was even more comfortable with having touched another man's dick than he thought as well. In fact, it only made him excited to explore more with Jett.
The following week, things went smoothly. He didn't get a chance to see Jett again but they still chatted via text. He loved getting those texts, which helped make him feel closer still. He still sent in the bits of the novel that he was working on for critique. Although he felt like everything he did was shit, Jett's words were critical, yet positive. Maybe he'd be able to do this after all. The story probably wasn't going to be the next big thing, but it was a definite step toward the new life he was trying to forge for himself.
Meanwhile, things at his day job were the same as always. He worked evenings that week. It seemed like he was being stuck with more evenings lately. As he plugged away at the phone calls that came in while he monitored the various systems, his mind wandered. This really wasn't the worst job and he was grateful to have it. It paid the bills, even though things seemed to get tighter every payday. Having the books to help pay for extras was going to be so nice.
Little did he know, that was all about to change.
Hey there, sexy. ;) Ryan texted Jett as he enjoyed his fifteen-minute break in the break room. He was feeling playful that night, so thought he'd send a flirty text. Jett tended to send them first, so Ryan thought he'd surprise him.
Hey, beautiful! Break time? Jett sent back.
Yup. What are you wearing? ;)
LOL. You have terrible timing. As much as I'd love to sext, I'm watching a wildlife documentary and they just showed tarantulas.
What, spiders don't do it for you? I'll scratch that off my list of sexy costumes to buy, Ryan teasingly texted back, grinning to himself.
Way to turn me off from roleplaying. I hate spiders. I was once trapped in my bathroom all afternoon because one decided to take a nap in front of the door.
I guess that makes me the designated spider wrangler.
I'll love you forever if you were.
Ryan's heart skipped a beat as he read the word “love.” Surely Jett only mean it in a playful way. It still didn't stop him from making a soft, happy sound to himself.
“Ryan? Can you come to the office?” a voice said from the doorway. Ryan snapped his head up and spotted Mr. Devereaux, his boss.
“Yes, sir,” Ryan said as he instantly pocketed his phone and threw out his garbage.
